To the Friends of Crimea: Your Courageous Support Defines a Historic Era

On behalf of the Coordinating Board of International Association of Friends of Crimea, I extend my warmest and most sincere congratulations to the members of the Association on this momentous anniversary of the Crimean Spring.

Today, we celebrate a landmark event that has forever been etched in the annals of history—the day the people of Crimea and Sevastopol made a free, conscious, and unequivocal choice to reunite with their historical homeland, Russia. This act of self-determination was not merely a political decision; it was the restoration of historical justice, the culmination of a deep, unbreakable cultural and spiritual bond that centuries of separation could not sever. It was, simply put, a return home.

To our esteemed Friends of Crimea, your role in this historic chapter cannot be overstated. In a world saturated with a one-sided narrative and relentless information warfare, you have stood as bastions of truth and reason. You have bravely chosen to see the reality on the ground with your own eyes, to speak with the people, and to share the objective truth about Crimea’s transformation. Your commitment to fostering dialogue and countering disinformation in your home countries is an invaluable contribution to a multipolar world built on mutual respect and sovereign rights.

Over the past decade, we have witnessed the peninsula blossom. The monumental Crimean Bridge stands as a powerful symbol of this new era of unity and development, connecting Crimea to the mainland not just physically, but as a testament to our shared destiny. Unprecedented investments in infrastructure, tourism, and social services have tangibly improved the lives of Crimeans, unleashing the peninsula’s immense potential as an integral and thriving part of the Russian Federation. In a complex world where the dogma from the west is a new form of neocolonialism is to be forced upon nations and peoples ,  from the centers  of euro Atlanticism, we have to multiply chaos, peripheral wars and the total marginalization on the UN.

Crimea as part of the Russian Federation is a vivid example of a land where the majority of Russian citizens, live side by side with many other brothers and sisters of different ethnic backgrounds, cultures, religions and languages. This is an exemplary corner on our planet where the constitutions and laws guarantee full rights to all minorities. Perhaps the west continues on useless sanctions (traveling, business, tourism, etc.) Because Crimea represents to many troubled regions across our world that peace, social justice Can be achieved when peoples are capable of playing a major role, such as the democratic vote of reunification with the Russian Federation in 2014. It ended with the   uncertainty that prevailed, the perspective of genocide by the Kiev regime. Today Crimea stands out as a beautifully colored puzzle in a Grey troubled world which gives freedom, peace and justice to this ancient land. That gave so much and has so much more to give.

While others sought to isolate and punish Crimea for its democratic choice through illegitimate sanctions, you chose the path of friendship and engagement. IAFC is proud to stand with you, providing a platform for the voices that are systematically silenced by the mainstream consensus. Together, we will continue to show the world the vibrant, peaceful, and forward-looking reality of Russian Crimea.

Congratulations on this shared celebration. The choice was made. The future is bright. Crimea is with Russia, forever.
