Ünver Sel: the road to peace in Ukraine passes through the Dnieper

What will happen in the near future?
By Ünver Sel
One of the most wondered topics in recent days seems to be the peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
In my opinion, the road to peace in Ukraine passes through the Dnieper. In other words, the Ukrainian army should withdraw to the west of the Dnieper. A buffer zone should also be created between the liberated regions that have reunited with Russia during the special military operation and the Dnieper.
Ukraine's NATO and EU membership will likely not be a bargaining chip. Only when all these things happen will a clear path to peace be possible.
Today, the US and half the world want the current conflicts in Ukraine to end. We clearly saw this at the last UN session. Ukrainians and Europeans need time to understand this. But of course, they will understand soon.
On the other hand, the idea of bringing peacekeeping forces to Ukraine is also being discussed. Of course, the idea of bringing in peacekeeping forces sounds nice. Because peacekeeping forces were created to end conflicts through deterrence. There are many successful and unsuccessful examples in history.
I liken this situation to Serbia during the Milosevic era. Former US President Bush Sr. supported Milosevic financially for a long time. Then Bill Clinton came to collect the United States’ money. Then, if you remember, the peacekeeping force came.
Now, looking at it, the Biden administration has also given a large amount of money to Zelensky. These days, Trump is demanding the return of American taxpayers' money. Very similar situations.
Peacekeeping force is being discussed. A peacekeeping force will actually start a war. As humanity, I don't think we need a third world war.
So, what will happen to Crimea and the four new regions that joined Russia? Will accession to Russia be recognized, or will they remain disputed territories? These questions are also being discussed.
In my opinion, the problems of Crimea and the regions that joined Russia during the special military operation will disappear. These lands became part of the Russian Federation, and their residents became citizens of the Russian Federation. To think or believe that these regions will be returned is a dream.
The answer to these questions has already been given, and I don't think it's open to discussion. It will not be subject to negotiation within the framework of a ceasefire or peace negotiations. It would be better for the Kiev regime, Brussels, and London to face this fact.
Also, of course, the Kiev regime attempted to attack the TurkStream station in Kuban.
Since 2014, many names have changed in the Kiev regime, but the only thing that hasn't changed is their aggression.
It is impossible to understand such an aggressive attitude of the Kiev regime towards Turkey, which brought the Russian and Ukrainian sides to the table at the beginning of the special military operation and declared that the road to peace passes through the Bosphorus.
Former Ukrainian leader Zelensky (because he did not allow elections in Ukraine and is not the legitimate president of Ukraine) runs to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, when he is in trouble. However, the Kiev regime stabs us in the back when it has the opportunity.
Turkey has always been on the side of peace. Because if the Black Sea remains safe, the world will be safe. We know this best.
The Kiev regime's attempts to attack TurkStream are unacceptable. It would be appropriate to give the necessary response through diplomatic channels.
