Leaders of Several Countries Can Participate in the Yalta Forum

SIMFEROPOL, May 8. / TASS /. The Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF), which this year will be held in Crimea from 4 to 6 November, will bring together not only business representatives from dozens of countries around the world, but also leaders of a number of states. This was told to TASS on Saturday by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government Georgy Muradov.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said that YIEF will be held in Crimea from 4 to 6 November 2021. The Forum, which was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be held "with all security measures."

"We expect the arrival of not only business representatives from dozens of countries around the world, but also the leaders of a number of friendly states with which we are conducting preliminary negotiations. In addition, the leaders of the numerous clubs of friends of the Crimea, created in dozens of foreign countries, also intend to come to Yalta," - said Muradov.

The interlocutor of the agency noted that the Forum participants from among the foreign friends of Crimea initiated important sections dedicated to the fight against illegal sanctions, the normalization of trade, and the expansion of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

According to Muradov, YIEF will become one of the central business events of the country in 2021. Now the organizers are working on the program of the Forum. “The Crimean authorities are starting to prepare for this major international event, the main co-organizers of which will be the governments of Crimea, Bashkortostan and Sevastopol. "

Muradov added that the subject of discussion at the Forum will also be the development of digital technologies, financial settlement systems, which became especially relevant after the adoption in Russia of new regulatory documents on digital financial assets. "It is important for us to present Crimea as open to the world, a promising region of rapid development and profitable investments," the agency's interlocutor said.
