Coordinating Board Meeting Of The International Association Of Friends Of Crimea

On June 21, 2023 the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov participated in an extended meeting of the Coordinating Board of the International Association of Friends of Crimea - the supreme governing body of the association. The event gathered representatives from more than 20 countries.

During the meeting, the friends of Crimea discussed the interaction of national clubs of the organization, the course of the special military operation in Ukraine and the current international environment.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Georgy Muradov, Russia continues to proceed from the assumption that a Nazi regime operates in Ukraine. For peaceful interaction with this country, it is necessary to remove the Nazis from power structures and public life in Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Coordinating Board of the International Association of Friends of Crimea, former Slovakian Prime Minister Jan Charnogursky emphasized that more and more European citizens publicly express their disagreement with the policy of military support of Ukraine. In his opinion, such a course is pursued by the European bureaucracy exclusively under the pressure of the USA. The Head of the Friends of Crimea Club in Austria Patrick Poppel announced The First International Day of Independence from the United States influence, which is scheduled to be on July 4 this year in Europe, Asia and Africa. He also asked participants of the meeting to join this action.

Following the meeting, the Coordinating Board adopted a resolution on supporting Russia's efforts to overcome neo-Nazism and neocolonialism.
