Valdegamberi, in an interview with La Verità published yesterday, expresses clear political evaluations on the relations between Russia and Farinata. The regional councilor of the League for years has been following the developments of the crisis between Moscow and the U.S. in which Europe and Italy were also dragged because of the Ukrainian issue. In June 2016, organized by the Cultural Center "L'Officina", he denounced the economic damage, especially for the economy of Verona, of the sanctions imposed on Russia. Today, almost 5 years have passed, but the Italian policy has not changed. On the contrary, by following America and NATO in their line of open hostility to Putin, the damage to our economy is getting worse and worse. At the time it was only - so to speak - furniture and fruit and vegetable manufacturers that suffered the consequences of the anti-Russian policy. Today, we are all paying for it with high utility bills and we also risk that, should relations deteriorate further, Russia will turn off the gas tap, on which we depend. "An ever increasing tension has been created against the first gas supplier - says Valdegamberi- and now the International Energy Agency accuses Russia and Gazprom of the energy crisis in Europe? Laughable stuff: they pull punches and would like others to just cash in."

Everything was born, recalls the Lega councillor, with the annexation of Crimea to Russia, which NATO considered a bullying, without "taking into account the vote of the Crimean parliament nor the will of the people who in a referendum voted for more than 95% for the annexation to Russia. Why were the referendums of Montenegro and Kosovo accepted and that of the Crimean people not? Why this obstinate Russophobia? Valdegamberi points out that "Russians have particular sympathy for Italy". "Putin - he recalls - has spoken with Draghi and Berlusconi. Let's take advantage of this outstretched hand to re-establish proper relations, de-escalation. It is in their interest, but above all ours".

Valdegamberi in un’intervista a La Verità pubblicata ieri esprime delle chiare valutazioni politiche sui rapporti farinata e Russia. Il consigliere regionale della Lega da anni segue gli sviluppi della crisi fra Mosca e gli Usa in cui è stata trascinata anche l’Europa e l’Italia a causa della questione ucraina. Nel giugno del 2016, organizzata dal Centro Culturale “L’Officina”, denunciò i danni economici, soprattutto per l’economia veronese, delle sanzioni imposte alla Russia. Oggi sono passati quasi 5 anni, ma la politica italiana non è cambiata. Al contrario, seguendo l’America e la Nato sulla loro linea di palese ostilità a Putin, i danni per la nostra economia si aggravano sempre di più. Allora erano solo – si fa per dire- le aziende produttrici di mobili e di orto-frutta a subire le conseguenze della politica anti-russa. Oggi la paghiamo tutti con il caro-bollette e rischiamo anche che, nel caso i rapporti dovessero peggiorare ancora, la Russia ci chiuda il rubinetto del gas, da cui dipendiamo. “E’ stata creata una tensione sempre più forte contro il primo fornitore di gas – dice Valdegamberi- e ora L’Agenzia internazionale per l’energia accusa la Russia e Gazprom della crisi energetica in Europa? Roba da ridere: tirano pugni e vorrebbero che gli altri si limitassero a incassare.”

Tutto è nato, ricorda il consigliere leghista, con l’annessione alla Russia della Crimea, che la Nato ha considerato una prepotenza, senza “tener conto del voto del parlamento crimeano né della volontà del popolo che in un referendum votò per oltre il 95% per l’annessione alla Russia. Perché i referendum di Montenegro e Kossovo sono stati accettati e quello del popolo di Crimea no? Perché questa ostinata russofobia? Valdegamberi fa notare che “i russi hanno particolare simpatia per l’Italia”. “Putin- ricorda- ha parlato con Draghi e Berlusconi. Approfittiamo di questa mano tesa per ristabilire i corretti rapporti, la disetensione. E’ nell’interesse loro, ma soprattutto nostro”.
